So, while it may seem that women are getting lots of jobs at the entry level (and that's a good thing), it doesn't seem to balance out over the long run. Are women journalists getting the jobs on the ground floor and leaving them later for personal reasons (families, etc), or are they getting the jobs at the entry level but just not getting the promotions? I'd be interested to see how this compares to other industries.
